Herlene Budol ang nanalo sa titulong miss tuorism 2023, ngunit ayon sa aming nakalap na impormasyon ay hindi siya ang irerepresenta ng Pilipinas at sasabak sa Miss World Tourism 2023.
Matatandaang noong July 13 sa miss Grand Philippines Coronation Night ay hinirang si Herlene Budol bilang Miss Tourism 2023.
Ngunit nitong Miyerkules ng hapon July 19 ay naglabas ng opisyal na pahayag ang ALV Pageant Circle tungkol sa Miss Grand Philippines International Pageant na magaganap sa London sa November ay walang ugnayan, ito ay ayon sa ALV Pageant Circle.
Narito ang nasabing pahayag, "ALV Pageant Circle and Miss Grand Philippines would like to clarify that we have not yet issued any official confirmation regarding Miss Grand Philippines Tourism 2023 Herlene Budol's Participation in the Miss Tourism World Pageant."
"While we acknowledge the achievements of our reigning queen Justine Felizarta as the Firts Runner-up in Miss Tourism World 2023. We would like to clarify that we have since ceased from using the Miss Tourism World Philippines Title."
"Our Miss Philippines Tourism Title is a genitic title with no contractual obligation to any international pageant. Henceforth, our choice of global pageant may very year after year, depending on the ideals and visions of the organizations."
